American League of Lobbyists

Over the past ten year's lobbyists, members of Congress and congressional staffers have come together for a single purpose: to raise money for some outstanding local kids. This effort started with the idea that so many of us spend so much time in our Nation's Capitol that it would be nice if we could do our small part to give back to a city that we are fortunate to work and live in. This vision and the success of this event could not have been possible if it were not for the support of the American League of Lobbyists.

Lobbyists are so often criticized for the work they do and not thanked for all the good they do behind the scenes to help their communities. This is one effort we are proud of and proud of the American League of Lobbyists and all of their members for making our efforts possible.

Through our efforts and those of all our sponsors, we have been able to raise over $400,000 for local children. This is incredible considering where we started. So, on behalf of all of us at the Hoops for Youth Foundation, we would like to say a very special thank you to the American League of Lobbyists for all they have done to help make the lives of some local kids a little brighter. You're number one in our book!
