The need for food assistance has skyrocketed in the DMV during the pandemic. We are committed to doing our part to help those in need in our community! The Hoops for Youth Foundation will be partnering with the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics to deliver Thanksgiving dinner to 60 families this year. We will be working with the Healthy Babies Project to deliver meals directly to the families.
Paul Miller, Board Chairman for the Hoops for Youth Foundation stated, "For 22 years the Hoops For Youth Foundation has been serving families in the Washington D.C. community. During normal times kids aren’t getting the food they need each day. During this pandemic that need has grown. Help us by providing kids with the food they need to succeed. We have 60 families we plan to feed on Thanksgiving. With your help we can make that happen."
